BIRMINGHAM, AL (March 10, 2020)Broken Bow, Oklahoma, located in the foothills of the Kiamichi Mountains bringing visitors from all over the country, has selected Retail Strategies to take a fresh approach to its retail economic development strategy.

We are excited to partner with Retail Strategies because we get to add their resources to our team for multiple years. The real estate minded approach they take to attracting retail is something that stood out to us as missing in our current strategy and we believe will make a real difference when speaking with retailers. Retail Strategies understands real estate development and they have connections with regional and national retailers that they will be reaching out to on our behalf to help expand our retail footprint.”

VICKIE PATTERSON, CITY MANAGER, BROKEN BOW

Through the new partnership, the Retail Strategies team will work hand in hand with city leaders to help them understand their trade area and real estate opportunities. Retail Strategies will perform a market analysis of the businesses located in Broken Bow and identify areas of opportunity with expanding businesses. Most importantly, the commercial real estate professionals at Retail Strategies will proactively reach out to potential businesses, property owners, brokers, and developers on behalf of the city.

“Broken Bow has always been a very popular destination for travelers year-round, that mixed with the people that call Broken Bow home, provides great retail opportunity for the city,” said Matthew Tate, director of business development for Retail Strategies. “The city has been very aggressive in the past couple of years acquiring property and putting themselves in a good position to attract retail. We are excited to lock arms with city leadership and execute a winning strategy that will complement the citizens and visitors of Broken Bow.”

My relationship with the Retail Strategies team has been extremely valuable over the last couple of years as I’ve searched for sites in the Southeast. They have been persistent and provided any information they could gather for available properties that fit my criteria. If they received news that a space was coming available they made sure to immediately give me a call and connect with the owners. I would recommend using this service to any of my colleagues looking in their client cities.
