BIRMINGHAM, AL (September 23, 2019) – Clinton, Okla. has partnered with Retail Strategies to attend Retail Academy. Retail Academy serves to help communities learn how to attract retail through teaching how data provides options and real estate drives decisions. With about 10,000 residents, Clinton is located in Custer and Washita counties. Home to the Oklahoma Route 66 Museum, Lucky Star Casino and the state’s first Water-Zoo indoor water park, Clinton is a small community with access to larger metro areas.

The city of Clinton will attend Retail Academy at Retail Strategies’ headquarters in Birmingham, AL to engage in a day and a half retail intensive education process in its new state-of-the-art classroom. The Retail Academy course will equip attendees with the tools and education necessary to strengthen their retail landscape through learning how to attract new retailers to their market, while still providing support to existing local businesses.
