BIRMINGHAM, AL (July 26, 2022) – Coalinga, California, has appointed Retail Strategies, the leading national community development firm, to develop and execute a retail recruitment plan for the city.

The Retail Strategies team will be aggressively marketing the city to expanding businesses, “said Matthew Tate, director of business development for the western region at Retail Strategies. “Our team will be swiftly learning about the real estate in the market and identifying retail and restaurant brands so we can represent Coalinga at the upcoming ICSC San Diego show in September.”

Through the partnership, the city will receive a tailored retail recruitment plan based on an in-depth market analysis, consumer data, real estate assessment, and proactive retail and broker outreach by the Retail Strategies team.
Brookley Valencia and John Mark Boozer of Retail Strategies, will perform a boots-on-the-ground market tour to analyze the real estate opportunities and identify areas of opportunity for expanding businesses. The next step is to create a retail recruitment plan and begin proactive outreach about specific retail real estate opportunities in Coalinga to potential companies, property owners, brokers and developers.
