Shrimp Basket on target for summer opening
The Cullman Times – David Palmer, Mar 30, 2019
The Shrimp Basket restaurant remains on target for a late-summer opening, perhaps earlier.
Founded in Gulf Shores, the restaurant has successfully expanded well outside the coastal area in recent years.
Scott VonCannon and Jeff Sommers with Retail Strategies notified the city of the lease for The Shrimp Basket. The business will be located in the former Title Max building at 716 2nd Avenue, N.W., across from Cullman Shopping Center. At that time officials estimated the restaurant would open by September.
The area is one of the most heavily traveled in Cullman.
