Can I do this on my own?
Several factors create challenges for communities when it comes to retail recruitment without a strategic partner. Time, knowledge, resources and connections limit the effectiveness and efficiency of a community’s efforts. Our model overcomes these barriers by committing an experienced, focused, well-connected team working on your behalf.
I have the data and knowledge. Why do I need you?
Data and analytics are easy to find. ESRI, which is a great data source, can provide a community data for $4,000 per year. However, data can only take you so far. Retailers have data but what they lack is in-depth knowledge of a community’s true identity and the specific real estate opportunities that may exist and meet their unique requirements. Our team overcomes this hurdle by gaining “local” knowledge of the community during our 90 day discovery phase.
We then utilize our relationships with retail real estate professionals and our knowledge of what they are seeking to tell your story in a way that best positions your market for their expansion.

Do you keep me up to date on progress?
YES! We charge a team of professionals to devise and execute proven strategies for your community. You will get to know these individuals and have direct access to them 24/7. In addition we understand that your team may change over the course of our partnership. To keep everyone organized and on schedule we provide access to a project management site created specifically for your partnership. This portal is user name and password protected to maintain confidentiality.
Do you guarantee Success?
We wish we had a crystal ball, but we obviously don’t. Retail real estate transactions involve multiple uncontrollable variables: patience is a virtue in our business.
We are very optimistic that over time with the effort we commit to all of our clients success will come. We can’t guarantee success but we do guarantee a high level of activity, focus, and effort on behalf of your community. This typically translates into more meaningful conversations with retailers and developers about specific sites within your community than there were before our partnership.

How long does it take you to identify my community's data?
First, don’t be fooled by elaborate language – data is the easy part. All data sources (STI Popstats, ESRI, Claritas, etc.) are put in to software’s which makes running data “point, click.” You select a point, determine the boundaries (drivetime, radius, polygon, or hand drawn) and select “run.” At that time all the data is delivered in an Excel or PDF format.
If the data is so easy, can I do this myself?
You absolutely can. You can purchase an annual ESRI subscription for $4,000 and you would be able to run your own data. This will allow you to understand your community, but it won’t give you a direct line to retailers, developers, and other key players in the retail real estate industry. We are not in the business to sell you data. We are real estate professionals who know how to combine the data with real estate, community vision, current retail expansion, and current economic state to create a strategy. We then lock arms with you and execute that strategy on your behalf.
