Through the new partnership, Retail Strategies will perform a real estate market analysis of Jacksonville to identify areas of opportunity for expanding businesses to open in the city. The Retail Strategies team will partner with city leaders to help them understand their market’s unique opportunities for additional sales tax collections and options to enhance the city’s quality of life. Additionally, Retail Strategies will proactively reach out to potential businesses, property owners, brokers, and developers to market the city of Jacksonville for new retail stores, restaurants, hotels and commercial development.

“Downtown Jacksonville has so much potential in their historic square,” said Jenn Gregory, president of Downtown Strategies. “Our team looks forward to working within Downtown Jacksonville to develop a Strategic Plan and to create positive momentum. Downtown Strategies applauds Jacksonville city leadership for actively pursuing development in the city.”

Downtown Strategies will host an in-market workshop with business owners, merchants, community leaders, and elected officials to gain feedback and stimulate dialogue on the community’s vision for downtown Jacksonville. The team will execute an in-depth market and real estate analysis to create Jacksonville’s customized Downtown Strategic Plan with specific strategies focused on design, walkability, policy, tourism, and economic catalyst opportunities for the Square and surrounding downtown area.

“Jacksonville, Alabama is a special and exciting opportunity for our team,” said Lacey Bacchus, business developer at Retail Strategies. “Having received my bachelor’s degree from Jacksonville State University, I am looking forward to Retail Strategies diving into this market and finding creative solutions for development and downtown revitalization.”

My relationship with the Retail Strategies team has been extremely valuable over the last couple of years as I’ve searched for sites in the Southeast. They have been persistent and provided any information they could gather for available properties that fit my criteria. If they received news that a space was coming available they made sure to immediately give me a call and connect with the owners. I would recommend using this service to any of my colleagues looking in their client cities.
