Chandler serves as a Research Associate for Retail Strategies. He manages internal research projects and provides support to team members in internal partner consultations, project coordination, and execution as well as database buildout. He also performs industry searches and analyses to create demographic overviews and analyze localities.
Before joining Retail Strategies, Chandler attended Birmingham-Southern College where he holds a bachelor’s degree in applied computer science. He also received a minor in data science through the Flatiron School program. During his time in college, Chandler interned with Crossflow technologies where he created a python file for the storage of future data. Python is not his only skill. He is also skilled in machine learning, SQL, data visualization, and others.
Outside of work if he is not spending time with his wife, Katherine, family, and friends, then he is in outdoors. He once completed a one-month-long Scandinavian Sea kayaking and backpacking expedition in Norway. He enjoys mountain biking, archery, and flying planes since he does have his pilot license.
