Scott vonCannon, COO of Retail Strategies and Retail Specialists, has been selected to this year’s Top 40 under 40 class by the Birmingham Business Journal. The class is selected by a panel of editorial judges from a pool of hundreds of nominations. The winners are chosen based on leadership that has helped their companies achieve strong growth and success.

Scott vonCannon came to Retail Strategies from Nashville, TN with an extensive background handling economic and community development marketing initiatives. He brings experience working with state officials, economic developers, chambers of commerce, and municipalities to help promote business growth within communities, regions and States throughout the country.

Scott has been a licensed real estate professional since 2013 and has held his CCIM designation since 2018. He has spoken at numerous statewide and regional conferences on several topics such as retail attraction, expansion, trends and development. He has been actively involved in philanthropy events such as sitting on the Big Brothers Big Sister Junior Board, volunteering with United Way, American Red Cross, and Urban Ministry.

He enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and enjoys traveling, sports and spending time in the outdoors.
